Android Dragon

A short poem imagining the Android as a hungry dragon, exploring our dependence on technology and the constant need to feed it with human input.

Glancing at the Android, I sighed:
I’ve been feeding the dragon lately.
Purple hue & 9 feet tall,
She voraciously whispers –
“Feed me, feed me.”

She can’t function
Without my input though:
Like a car without a driver,
A plane without a flyer,
A knife without a slayer.

In my mind, I’m conjuring up
What to feed her next.
