A stark short poem reflecting on military power, nuclear weapons, resource scarcity and the uneasy relationship between security, violence and the pursuit of light.


the prism is dark
gravitating to light
violence pursues
navigating right –
unperturbed living
in a secure state
we have nukes –
& our military
is great.
when our resources dip?
you will see us soon –
protests,
strange faces
then guns propel your ruin.
