Keep Going | A Short Poem About Resilience and Hope

By 5 February 2015August 5th, 2026No Comments1 min read
Bed Floating in a Sea of Darkness A lone bed floats in a vast, dark void or night ocean. The person is peacefully asleep, cocooned in warmth. In the distance, morning light begins to pierce the darkness.

Keep Going

A concise reflection on perseverance and the recurring struggles of life, finding quiet strength in the simple instruction to keep going.

When dilemmas seek
To break you down,
Keep going.

For another day passes,
Darkness unfurls,
Oh glorious sleep!

A merciful place.
But the morning
Arrival is never

Delayed –
Sunny dilemmas,
Shadows again.

Seven white ladders of increasing height ascend a pale blue wall, with a blazing yellow sun above the tallest. Skendong Poetry.
