Pink and Lilac Umbrella

A contemporary urban reimagining of William Carlos Williams’s The Red Wheelbarrow, finding significance in an abandoned umbrella and the overlooked details of everyday life.

so much depended
upon

a pink and lilac
umbrella

discarded in the
ginnel

with an assort-

of cosmetics:
a cheek

brush and purple
thongs

and unread
documents
