Virtual Bonds and Unseen Farewells across Social Media

By No Comments1 min read
a shadow of a person standing in a very misty scene

virtual bonds

a friend passed away
on social media &
it felt strange.

though we’d never met
it resonated
when her daughter posted

“my mother has died.”
i felt a funeral
in my brain –

mourners messages
strewed the page
with condolences &

i read some of them.
though we’d never met
she virtually is.
