Odd Encounter: Two Elderly Men Fighting

By No Comments1 min read
man with black hat and black coat with a scary face paint

I’m amazed.
Strolling along minding our business
when ahead of us on the sunlit street
are two elderly men fighting.

One was kind of obese – the other
skinny & balding head.
“They’re hitting each other!” you said!
amongst their mumbling murmurs.

Can you hear them? Forget this,
I crossed the road – you crossed with me,
strolling along minding my business but
I couldn’t help glance back.

The chubby man
had turned into a pillar of salt.
