The End of the World Has Come For Some

End of the World

It’s like there
The end of the world came.
And over there
The end of the world is coming.

A little further west
I’m cool at my desk.
The Crassula ovarta I gaze past
On my window sill.

Marble clouds,
The sky pale blue,
Fir tree still,
The majestic sun –

Peaceful. Shattered
By the yellow tram –
Damn. It whirred
By on the tracks.
