Where are the Gaza Poets?

By No Comments1 min read
Painting of a silhouetted, starving child in front of a colorful bookshelf filled with books and awards.

Where are the Gaza Poets?

They who built careers on rage
now mute their feeds with prudent care,
while Gaza’s children starve to death
and publishers count the clicks and shares.

It is the contract of our age –
no stanzas where the bombs descend,
just empty chairs on every stage
and silence bought with advance cheques.

Collage of a poem titled "Gaza" with censored lines, surrounded by colorful abstract shapes and fragmented landscapes.
