A Candid Verse: Capturing Copyrighted Intrigue in Verse

By One Comment1 min read
photographer taking a photo of a model

As I meandered the condo,
about to make a cup of coffee,
I noticed a couple
not from round here.

Amused, I lifted the camera,
blew off the dust, turned it on,
and zoomed in. Oblivious,

oblivious, the photographer
shoots her with his stiff long lens,
and I shoot over his bald head:

she’s posing just for me
amidst the garbage: she glanced,
smiled, and said
not a word.
