In a Prosaic Bar The Night’s Desire Unfolds

In The Bar

Drinking together among the empty seats,
They order another and drink and drink.
And another and more drink, then kiss.
Bored barmaid swings the metal bell.
It’s late but the night is still young.
They look into each other.
I would like you to come back to my place
For what use is this pleasure tomorrow.
He agrees.
