Telegnosis: Solitary I Sit In A Dimly Lit Room

By No Comments1 min read
a man sitting in front of the tv

inimical telegnosis

solitary sat
in a dimly lit room.

heard bawling & wailing
as barrel bombs dropped
from the rabid sky.

the fathers scampered.
the mothers clasped
their frantic hands
as soldiers approached –
toxic tears streaming.

i watch the vision,
traumatized faces.
catch the kid squealing
as they pulled him
from the rubble.

the dispossessed
fleeing the horror.

the rage & shells
of battles terror
moving in
on the refugees…
