As the ineradicable world turns sideways,
And a canary candle flame flickers gently,
Crystallize this effulgent thought.
Your head has been previously unctioned.
You’re not needy, but actually needed.
For there’s a time to be born, and a time
to align back into whence we came. Pour —
your obsolescent vigor into your limited days.
