20/20

I turned your life upside down
That night voraciously selfish
Your smile turned into a frown
(& more)
Fueled by unfettered hypocrisy.

You said we’ll try & work it out
I extinguished the dexterous spark
You encouraged me along the way
In hindsight it was for this day

Is that you walking away?

Because now it seems clear to me
Something hidden is always seen
I allowed another to split our love
2020 my vision blurred,

I wipe the condense from my eyes
Then I figure it out
I lost you at the first stage
Cheating on you, black & white.

I stabbed a part of your soul
You could never return again
In love you groaned: you’re my pair
With heavy heart you now refrain

In hindsight it is clear to me
Something hidden is always seen
I allowed another to split our love
2020 my vision blurred,

I wipe the condense from my eyes
Then I figure it out
I lost you at the first stage
Cheating on you, black & white.
