the day is coming
it will rain gold,
refined
by the fiery sun.

all you’ll have to do
is go outside.
you’ll be stinking
rich.

you’ll rub your eyes
in disbelief.
relief!
the day is coming.

prepare a black robe –
it hides the stains
of your naked past.

until then my friend,
endure the dodge a
falling dagger time.
