Etheral Echoes: Triumph Over Sorrow

By No Comments1 min read
A lone person standing on a cliff or rooftop at twilight, gazing at a vast purple sky.

Etheral Echoes

though deserving
of tears, none fell
from my eyes today.

submerged
beneath rushing tides,
words ran dry,
leaving me voiceless.

but gradually,
slowly,
my spirit ascends,
after ages of
releasing sorrow –

embracing
the numbness…

oh my!

scaling the parapet,
weightless,
my gaze shifts through
the deep purple hue,
where

a ton dissipates,
as
i scan the heights.

devoid of imagery:

an anticipated yet
partial landscape
unfolds.
